Arlene Wilkinson, RMT, AT, JSD, IAT, MMQ

Arlene has thirty years clinical experience as a Massage Therapist and in Eastern Wellness Therapy. Arlene is a graduate of Sutherland Chan School & Teaching Clinic and has extensive administrative experience with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, with the Ontario Massage Therapist Association, and with various educational institutions providing massage therapy programs.

Her post-graduate training, particularly in Aromatherapy and Kneipp Hydrotherapy, position her well within the spa industry as both a teacher and consultant. For 2 years, she acted as spa consultant & director to the Claramount Inn & Spa, where she was integral in the design & creation of a Kneipp- based Spa.

Arlene is the owner & principle therapist at Nightingales Therapeutic Spa. She is also the founder of Spaah-go by Nightingales, a traveling natural healing spa and Arlene’s Garden Organics, featuring organic teas, soaps and aroma spa products.

Arlene is a registered Jin Shin Do Therapist, who received her training with Iona Teegarden, Noel Taylor & Arnold Porter. Arlene teaches Integrative Acupressure Therapy, a modality she developed which integrates the therapeutic use of essential oils with acupressure release techniques.

Arlene completed her training in Chinese Medical QiGong with Wendy Lang, MMQ, International Institute of Medical QiGong, California and has successfully completed the requirements for her Master of Medical QiGong diploma. In the fall of 2010, she graduated from Hanan University, China with her Masters in Medical QiGong (MMQ China).

Arlene is available to travel & teach QiGong in your community! She offers weekly QiGong classes in Prince Edward County. She also provides private assessments, treatments and prescription exercises for individuals both for health promotion and in the treatment of conditions such as chronic illness and cancer.

Arlene is currently working in partnership with the Sexual Assault Centre of Quinte District bringing QiGong to their Paths of Courage Residential Healing Retreat program for victims of sexual assault.   Heal – Transform – Become Empowered.

Caroline Shuttle, cert PSW

Caroline is the primary caregiver for her ageing parent for eight years. She is the owner of Elements Glass Studio and has operated her business in Bloomfield, for the past eighteen years.

Caroline received her Personal Support Worker training from Loyola College, Belleville campus, from September 2013 – June 2014.  In addition she has:

  • Current CPR and First Aid Training
  • Hospice and Palliative Care Training
  • Reliable transportation
  • Well developed interpersonal skills
  • A strong work ethic

 Caroline will:

Kate Callaghan, BSc, RMT

Kate is a graduate of Sutherland Chan School and Teaching Clinic and has over 19 years experience as a massage therapist. Kate maintains a private practice both in Kingston, at the Wellington Healing Arts Clinic, as well as, in Bloomfield, at Nightingales Therapeutic Spa. Her postgraduate training includes Essential Oil Basics with Maggie Mann, RMT.

Janet Elson, JSD, IAT, CAHP

Janet is a registered Jin Shin Do™ Acupressurist, Integrative Acupressure Therapist, a certified Aromatherapist and a Yoga Alliance Registered 200 Hour Level Hatha Yoga Teacher. She is also a certified Laughter Yoga Leader with a background in Thai Yoga Massage, Therapeutic Touch, Palliative Care and Metaphysical Disciplines. She holds a BA English Honours and has enjoyed 20 years as a library professional.

Janet is the owner of Heartwood Holistics, a private clinical practice in operation since 2005. As well, she teaches yoga and various workshops on complementary care in Prince Edward County.

A compassionate presence and a thoughtful, multi-disciplinary approach is the hallmark of her practice.  Gentle and powerful, her treatments are designed to bring you back to yourself through the healing power of nature and touch.

Hedy Brambat-Kellar, Holistic Esthetician, Ayurveda Massage

Hedy is a graduate of the Loyalist College Esthetics Program and has over 8 years of experience as a Certified Esthetician. She received her training in the principles of Ayurveda treatments as an apprentice in a spa setting that specialized in Ayurveda. Her holistic approach nourishes both your inner and outer sense of beauty. Hedy uses natural, organic products and a firm, yet gentle touch that ensures you look and feel your best with her spa-inspired treatments.

She is a yoga teacher with an E-RYT200 Hour designation through the International Yoga Alliance. She also is certified to offer Rejuvenating Facial Massage, and is trained in Relaxation Massage.

Outside the clinic, Hedy pursues her love of music as a member of Command Performance Choir, as well as enjoying time spent in her garden. Hedy is a retired Professional Engineer.
